The story of vintage winter boots
From the 1930s to the 1950s, women's winter boots were made to be both warm and elegant. Lace-up ankle boots and short booties in leather were lined with wool or sheepskin, and moccasin-style snow boots were worn for skiing and long walks in the cold.
Our winter boots are based on originals from these decades. We have kept the period details, from the moccasin toe and brogue details to the shape of the heel.
Every pair is made from full-grain leather with a warm wool lining, in small production runs.
Many styles have discreet silicone inserts under the insole, so you can wear them all day.
