I have wanted a pair of 1930s/40s oxfords for the longest time; they just have that wonderful classic style. These are perfection—well made and with a beautiful cognac color. I bought them earlier this summer and have been waiting for fall tights season to wear them. Sizing was a bit odd for me; I normally wear a US size 6 or 6.5 wide, but I went with the size chart and Mette’s recommendation to go with the 4 wide based on my actual foot length. It fits perfectly, maybe a smidge big even, but I plan to get a pair of her inserts just in case. Already planning my next purchase!

Very nice and comfortable vintage inspired shoes. I ordered the wide style in EU37 ( usually wearing 38) and they fit perfectly.
Shipping was also very fast

Beautiful shoes. Very comfortable, except that I have a big toe that was broken in 1991. The toe is misshapen and sticks out enough to cause any normal shoe to rub the toe precisely on the protruding area of the bone. I’m trying to convince myself that I can wear them because they are so beautiful, and I’ve never had beautiful shoes like this. Very well made shoes!
The shoes are as described and very well made. Unfortunately they weren't right for me. Appreciate the quick and easy return process.

These were a gift for a dear friend and she absolutely adores them. She said ‘they’re beautiful and fit like a dream’. Hers are a size 8 in a wide fit, I have a 7 wide - and they are the best fitting shoes I own. I’ve had mine for three years and they’re doing fine. A bit slippy on the soles when the pavement is wet, but this doesn’t detract from their quality in my opinion; a feature of 1940s shoes!

Thank you for leaving such a wonderful review, it's lovely to hear your friend was just as fond of he rnew memery shoes as you are. Our shoes have leather soles, just like the original back them. When you have walked a bit in them the soles will scruff a bit and become much less slippery. Regularly treaitng the outer soles with leather care also helps.

I just love the memery shoes! The Emily is my second order style I tried so far. They are so comfortable!! And so stylish and fancy. I feel pretty and confident when I wear them. And I know that my feet will not be sore after a whole day. Worth it! Don’t hesitate, you will love them!

I’m in between sizes nowadays. I ordered a size too small so I reordered a larger size. Very responsive customer service. I would recommend these shoes. Very well made.

Har flere typer Memery sko, og elsker dem! Jeg har litt breie føtter, men klarer fint å «gå» til 38 med lave heler. Når høyden på hælene er 4,5 cm ser jeg at jeg med fordel kunne gått opp en str. Med alternativ wide hadde jeg ikke fått snøret dem ordentlig.
